Located just one minutes walk from Carlisle train station and close to the main shopping areas. The hotel is also well located for the popular Botchergate district where many bars and restaurants are located.
The rooms are traditional in design and Decor which is to be expected as the property was built during the reign of King George III over 200 years ago. The rooms are well finished although basic but offer direct dial telephone, colour television tea and coffee making facilities.
The restaurant is medium sized well presented and extremely traditional in design. It exhibits may period features as does the rest of the building.
The lobby is small and well presented with a traditional dark wood reception desk.
