City Partner Augusta Hotel in Mannheim, Germany

The Augusta is very centrally located, within a few hundred meters of the water tower, the symbol of mannheim. It is situated on the corner of a side street of the Augusta anlage which is the busy but not too noisy main road into the centre of mannheim from heidelberg.

The bedrooms are medium sized on average, though they vary considerably due to the age of the building. They are slightly drably furnished with dark brown carpets and dark brown Polished wood furniture. Many of the bedrooms have dark wooden headboards and panelling which extends around the bed area. Although the decor is hardly modern, the furnishings and decoration are of a high quality, and both rooms and bathrooms are in very good condition.

The main restaurant is located on the ground floor, and is an attractive, light room with simple, but comfortable furniture, and a pleasant, clean, atmosphere.

The reception area itself is very small, but beyond a small corridor there is a larger seating area, with attractive black leather chairs and sofas.

The hotel is a traditional five storey sandstone building typical of those in this area of mannheim.

The hotel has a perfect location for traveller exploring the region either by car or by public transport. The staff in the hotel are both friendly and helpful.
