Hotel Features. With views of the Alps rising in the distance, the eight storey Citea Grenoble, (accessible by lift), is a modern property consisting of studio and two room apartments. The front desk, open for limited hours, has multilingual staff to assist with queries and services. High speed Internet is provided throughout the property, and parking is available for a surcharge.
Breakfast is provided for a surcharge each morning.
Hiking and biking trails can be found in the foothills of the L'Oisans mountains. Numerous ski resorts are located within an hour's drive.
Guestrooms. The 128 apartments have contemporary decor and modern, dark wood furniture. All are equipped with kitchenettes with microwave ovens and refrigerators, satellite television, high speed Internet connections, and direct dial phones. Windows open onto neighbourhood views. Ironing boards are available on request.
Expert Tip. Perched on the hillside above Grenoble are the ancient fortifications of the Bastille. From here, there are excellent views of the city and surrounding mountains. Access is via the telepherique cable cars.

Getting there. A shuttle bus service departs from outside the Arrivals hall and runs to Grenoble Coach Station and the railway station. Tram line A, runs from the train station in the direction of Denis Papin / La Poyam. Depart at tram stop Grand Place to reach Citea Grenoble.
Getting around. A comprehensive bus and tram service operates in Grenoble. A network of 26 bus lines and 3 tram lines runs to all parts of the city. The old city centre is easily explored on foot.
