Centurion Hotel is a 3 star property set on the edge of the Mendip Hills, conveniently situated between Bath and Wells. This family run hotel aim to provide a highly professional, value for money service combined with a relaxed and friendly environment essential to making a stay an enjoyable experience whether the purpose is for business or pleasure. Hotel guests can enjoy the complimentary use of the extensive leisure facilities including fully air-conditioned gym, sauna, steam room, spa pool and indoor swimming pool. In addition the Gallery offers comprehensive treatments and therapies (booking and charges apply) and a 9-hole parkland golf course (green fees apply).All of the 44 rooms are comfortable and well proportioned, many looking out onto the gardens and parkland golf course. Each room is non-smoking, and includes the following features; direct dial telephone, remote control television, radio, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary secure wireless broadband access.Centurion offers two different eating venues; Cubros Bar and Restaurant, set on the northern escarpment of the Mendip hills Cubros Conservatory boasts views that are rarely beaten. Chefs prepare menus with a difference, from traditional Sunday lunch carvery to light, healthy lunches, and for dinner a choice of innovative modern English cuisine all set in a welcoming, relaxed and unique setting. Jays Bar a more relaxed and informal atmosphere where guests can relax and enjoy some of the bar snacks on offer, whilst soaking up the atmosphere.The recently enlarged Fitness Centre contains the most up to date Cardio Vascular and resistance equipment, complete with sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, exercise pool and aerobics area. The Fosseway Golf Club, founded in 1971 is a 9-hole course. The parkland course is well maintained and well established with many of the fairways lined by an abundance of mature trees. It has earned a fantastic reputation for offering both a challenging and interesting round of golf to suit players of all levels and abilities.Centurion is the ideal base for visits to the unique World Heritage site of Bath whose many attractions include the Roman Baths, the splendid Bath Abbey and the Thermae Bath Spa, the magnificent Cathedral and moated Bishops Palace at Wells, Mystical Glastonbury, Cheddar Gorge, Historic Maritime Bristol and the many areas of natural beauty in the Quantock and Mendip Hills.The hotel are pleased to annouce they are currently refurbishing the bedrooms to a higher standard to ensure your comfort is guaranteed. This programme is due for completion by 27th February 2009.The swimming pool will be closed for annual maintenance from 16th until 21st December 2008. We are located just off the A367 about 10 miles south of Bath.From the North (M5): Exit M5 at junction 15, take M4 East to junction 19 and take the M32 to Bristol.From South Wales (M4): Exit junction 19 and take the M32 to Bristol.From Bristol: Follow the A37 (signposted to Wells) to Farrington Gurney, turn left onto the A362 to Midsomer Norton Radstock. Stay on the A362 to Radstock. Do not turn at signs for Midsomer Norton. At Radstock turn right on to the A367. Remain on the A367 (signposted Shepton Mallet Exeter) for a further mile or so.From London (M4): Exit M4 at junction 18 and take the A46 into Bath. Once in Bath join the A367 (signposted Radstock Shepton Mallet) for about 10 miles to Radstock. Do not turn at signs for Midsomer Norton. Remain on the A367 (signposted Shepton Mallet Exeter) for a further mile or so.From the South: Follow the A37 through Glastonbury and on to Farrington Gurney turn right on to the A362 to Midsomer Norton Radstock.
