The Buchanan Arms is a large white country house hotel, surrounded by rugged countryside, well placed just five miles from Loch Lomond National Park and 20 miles from Glasgow. The hotel's 52 guestrooms are located over three floors and all are simply decorated in fresh bright colours. Guestrooms are equipped with cable television, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial phones, wireless Internet connections and trouser presses. Bathrooms are complete with hair dryers and shower/tub combinations.
Guests can unwind with a workout in the gym, take a turn on the squash court or swim a few lengths in the pool. Directions
Getting there: Taxis are available outside the airport terminal, and the fare to the hotel is approximately 50 GBP.
Driving directions: From the airport take the M8 to Greenock and follow signposts to Erskine Bridge. After the bridge follow the A82 to Loch Lomond. Before Loch Lomond, take the A811 to Balloch. Signposts to Drymen will appear shortly.
