The Bridgehouse Hotel is an old coaching inn perched high on Reigate Hill, 12 miles from Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club and historic Hampton Court Palace. The 39 country cottage styled guestrooms feature colourful quilts and light wood furniture. All include balconies with valley views, satellite television, direct dial phones, dial up and wireless Internet access, coffee/tea makers, hair dryers and iron/ironing boards.
At the hotel's Lannis restaurant diners can enjoy Mediterranean and continental fare with panoramic views, stone walls and an exposed beam ceiling. There is also live music on weekends. Guests can pick up a sandwich and a drink from the bar, browse free newspapers in the lobby, indulge in afternoon pastries and coffee, and attend themed dinner dances. Directions
A taxi from the airport costs approximately 15 GBP. Trains and Metrobuses run from the airport's south terminal to Reigate station, which is one mile from the hotel. The easiest way to get around is by using the Underground (metro), train or bus services. Alternatively, black taxi cabs can be hailed in the street.
Driving directions: From the airport take the M23 motorway and turn off onto the M25. Exit at Junction 8 onto the A217. The hotel is after the High Foot Bridge on the left.
