Set in the tranquil village of Thornton-Le-Moor surrounded by countyside and close to the North Yorkshire Moors and Dales. Only 4 miles from Northallerton and 5 miles from Thirsk, famous for its James Herriot Visitors Centre, both popular market towns. Approx 10 miles from A1 motorway.All rooms have bath and shower ensuite facilities, flat screen TV, wifi internet access, teacoffee making facilites and hair dryers. All newly built in November 2007.Excellent A La Carte restaurant (runners up in Flavours of Hambleton Awards Restaurant of the Year 2006) serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lounge Bar and Public bar with pool table and darts.

Directions


From the North (A1)From the A1 take the junction, signposted Leeming this brings you onto the A684 Northallerton road. Stay on the A684 through Morton On Swale and Ainderby Steeple. At the cross roads approx 3 miles after Ainderby Steeple turn right, follow signs for Newby Wiske, carry on through Newby wiske village heading for South Otterington. At The Crossroads go straight ahead, past Otterington Shorthorn Pub entering into Thornton-Le-Moor village. The Black Swan is on the main street on the right hand side. From the South (A1)From the A1 take the A61, signposted Thirsk. Continue on the A61 entering Baldersby, bear left entering Skipton On Swale. At the roundabout take the first exit onto the A167, signposted Northallerton. Stay on the A167 through the village of Sandhutton, enter South Otterington, turn right at The Otterington Shorthorn Pub, as you enter Thornton-Le-Moor village.
