This privately owned and operated hotel is set in 7.5 acres of gardens between Cwmbran and Newport. All hotel guests get complimentary use of the exclusive Colonial Health and Leisure Club, facilities include heated indoor pool, sauna, spa bath, steam room, gymnasium, solarium, cafe bar and private sunbathing terrace. Ravellos Restaurant serves Carvery and A La Carte meals every evening and a very popular Sunday Lunch. The Country Table Coffee Shop is open daily Monday to Saturday serving snacks, salads, sandwiches, cakes, hot and cold drinks. All of the hotel bedrooms were fully refurbished in 2005 and 2006 and offer a very high standard of comfort for the discerning guest. Oversized beds, plush carpets, marble bathrooms, luxury toiletries and fluffy towels complement the hotels goal.....to provide a good nights sleep. Live entertainment is provided in the comfortable lounge every Friday and Saturday evening with resident musicians. Feel free to have a dance! Throughout Winter there is a real log fire to welcome guests to this friendly yet professionally operated AA accredited 4 star hotel. Please note that from the end of August 2006, all bedrooms will be strictly non smoking.

Go straight through several sets of traffic lights. At first roundabout, take first left, following A4051, onto Cwmbran Drive. At first mini-roundabout turn right onto Llantarnum Parkway. Take first right, past Pembroke House, and hotel is down Ty-Coch Lane on your left.From the East (LondonBristolChepstow)Take Junction 25A off the M4 onto the A4042 towards Cwmbran.At first Roundabout take the right exit, following the A4042 to Cwmbran.At the next roundabout, take the left exit, still towards Cwmbran.
