Best Western Hotel Montana in Zurich, Switzerland

The hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the city centre and old town, just around the corner from the main station.

The rooms are of medium size and half the rooms have been totally refurbished with modern furniture, and bright contrasting fabrics, although retaining a traditional feel. The bathrooms are also very modern. The remaining rooms are also modern, but slightly outdated. They have wooden panelling on the ceilings and around the windows, and dark brown carpets. The bathrooms are in good condition, but dimly lit.

Breakfast and dinner are served in the typical French bistrot/bar which is also a favourite with local residents and business people alike. The atmosphere is informal and comfortable.

The small lobby is attractively decorated with marble flooring and dark wooden reception desk. There is limited, but comfortable seating.

The traditional exterior blends in nicely with the surrounding buildings.

The hotel enjoys the unique feature of a glass elevator in the roofed atrium which links the five floors. An excellent, 3-star hotel, especially from the point of view of service and location. PL 03/07
