From Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport (GOA):
Distance to Best Western Hotel Metropoli is seven kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis are available from outside the terminal and cost about 20 EUR to the city centre. The number 100 airport shuttle bus also stops outside the hotel. The Volabus service runs hourly between the airport and Brignole and Stazione Principe railway stations. Travellers can take the metro, buses or Trenitalia trains from Stazione Principe to various Italian destinations. Frequent trains run between Genoa and the Italian Riviera resorts. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The hotel is on Piazza Delle Fontane Marose, 50 metres from Via Garibaldi. Genoa city centre is easy to explore on foot. There is an extensive bus network, as well as a limited metro service. D Ferrari metro stop is 100 metres from the hotel. An unlimited day travel pass costs 3 EUR. Passes are available from kiosks and AMT ticket offices. Ferries operate from the harbour to many coastal resorts, including Santa Margherita and Rapollo.
Driving directions. From Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport:
Take the autostrada/motorway to Genova Ovest.
Carry onto the Soprelevata and take the second exit.
Follow signs for Centro.
At the second set of traffic lights, turn right.
Continue along Via XII Ottobre up to Piazza Corvetto.
Drive around the square and through the tunnel.
At the end, turn left into Piazza Marose.
