Just 10 minutes’ walk from the city centre, halfway between the railway station and York Racecourse, Barrington House has been offering comfortable accommodation at great-value rates for over 25 years. During its 25-year history as a guest house, Barrington House has established a good reputation for the quality of its service and the value for money it offers. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, just off the main road, this Edwardian townhouse was originally built around 1906. Today, the house still retains many original features from that period. All of the en suite rooms are well equipped, with TVs and tea/coffee making facilities with complimentary biscuits. There are many restaurants, bars and shops nearby and all the attractions and amenities of York’s city centre are within easy walking distance. Breakfast is included in the price and guests can choose a full cooked English breakfast or a continental-style breakfast featuring various cereals, yoghurt, grapefruit, fruit juice and fresh fruit.
