Location. The half board Balmoral Hotel is located in Nottingham, England, two kilometres from the city centre in the leafy suburb of West Bridgford. Nottingham Castle and the City of Caves underground visitor attraction are within one mile of the hotel.
Hotel Features. This white, two storey hotel has bay windows and angular eaves typical of the Victorian era. There is a 24 hour front desk and Wireless Internet is provided in public areas. Complimentary parking is available next to the hotel.
The Balmoral Hotel serves a complimentary full English breakfast and dinner daily to those guests on the half board room rate. A varied menu is offered by the onsite restaurant with specialities of steaks, pasta dishes and salads. Refreshments can be taken in the bar and lounge, where there also is a pool table.

Distance to Balmoral Hotel is 12 miles, approximately 25 minutes' drive.
Getting there. There is a taxi desk across from the information desk inside the terminal building. Fares are 23 GBP to Hotel Balmoral. The Skylink bus runs from the airport to the city centre stopping at Hotel Balmoral. Buses leave every 30 minutes and cost 5 GBP for a single ticket. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Nottingham is served by a cheap and efficient tram network. A one day tram ticket costs 2.20 GBP and offers unlimited travel. An extensive bus network runs throughout Greater Nottingham. Cycling is popular for exploring the city and there are many cycle lanes in the city centre. Buses and trains run to other locations in the East Midlands. Prices are all subject to change.
