The small family run Ashlee Lodge, with its tranquil rooftop gardens, is set in a quiet village location, two kilometres from Blarney, and three kilometres from Cork. The ten air conditioned guestrooms are decorated in a traditional style with gold and burgundy fabrics and cherry wood furnishings. Room amenities include cable television, CD players, climate control, clock radios, coffee and tea making facilities, direct dial phones, and dial up Internet connections. Bathrooms have hair dryers, designer toiletries bathrobes and slippers.
Guests can relax in the rooftop garden, which has an outdoor Canadian hot tub and sauna, or enjoy a pampering hair or beauty treatment. The Restaurant Ashlee Lodge offers an eclectic blend of traditional Irish and continental fare, accompanied by an extensive wine list. Guests can tuck into house specialities such as braised shank of lamb and pan fried Bantry Bay cod in the restaurant's dining room. Before or after a meal, diners can chat over a drink or aperitif in the bar, or take advantage of room service. The concierge can book golfing lessons and organise transfers to the nearby golf clubs. The 220 acre Kinsale Golf Club is located 25 miles away. Guests can visit the 15th century Blarney Castle, or enjoy the pubs and cafes of Cork all within two miles. Cork International Airport is approximately 10 miles and a 25 minute drive from the hotel.

Directions
There is a frequent bus service from the airport to the bus station in Parnell Place in Cork city centre. There is also a taxi rank located outside the main terminal; a taxi to the hotel should cost approximately 20 EUR.
From the airport follow signs towards Cork City on the N25. Take the ring road around Cork and follow the N20 northbound. Exit the N25 towards Limerick/Mallow. Travel along the N20 towards Limerick and exit onto the R617. Drive straight through Blarney towards the village of Tower, and the hotel is on the left.
