Description
The hotel is actually part of the Berne Kursaal, which incorporates a casino, various restaurants and meeting facilities. It is opposite Berne's old town on the other side of the Kornhaus Bridge, set back from the road.
The rooms are modern in design and, being brand new, are in exceptional condition. They have parquet floors and stylish furniture. Most of the rooms have lovely views over the city, while some specially designed rooms do not have views at all, being within the building and with windows looking onto a central atrium. The bathrooms are also in exceptional condition.
The restaurant is modern like the rest of the hotel.
The large lobby is very modern in design, with a mainly glass roof and floor to ceiling windows.
The hotel forms the modern part of what is a mainly traditional building.
