The ABode Manchester is housed in a historic property, with steel beams and ironwork columns, in Manchester city centre's Piccadilly area, adjacent to the main shopping area and six miles from Old Trafford, home of Manchester United football club. The 61 guestrooms, over five floors, feature contemporary design featuring Moltini Italian furniture, parquet floors and feather down duvets. All include direct dial phones with voicemail, satellite television, high speed Internet access, complimentary bottled water, hair dryers, makeup mirrors, complimentary toiletries, bathrobes, sewing kits, clock radios and wake up calls.
The hotel's Cafe Paradiso Bar and Restaurant offers a choice of modern European cuisine and features an original wood burning pizza oven imported from Naples, in relaxed contemporary surroundings with a lounge bar open until late. Guests can browse the complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and make use of wireless Internet access throughout the hotel. Directions
Taxis are readily available from the arrivals terminal and cost approximately 15 GBP to the hotel. Alternatively, guests can take the train to Piccadilly Station. Parts of Manchester city centre are easily explored on foot, and there is a good bus and tram network covering the whole city. Taxis can also be hailed in the street.
Driving directions: From the airport take the M56 to Manchester city centre, which becomes the A5102 at the third exit (A57) at the roundabout. Exit for Piccadilly Station and follow the road. The hotel is on the right.
