Football Stadiums in Wales
Football is one of the most popular sports in Wales. The national football team, and the Football Association of Wales that governs it, is the third oldest in the world. Until recently Wales didn't have a national football league of its own. One was founded in 1992 and the Welsh Premier League is currently the country's top tier of football. Rhyl F.C are the current champions. Top clubs, such as Cardiff City, Swansea City and Wrexham compete in the English football league system. ![]()
