About Mbombela Stadium

With the stadium located 8km out of the city centre in a relatively remote suburb, most visitors will want to stay in the centre before using public transport or hire care to travel to the venue.

There are about a dozen small hotels and guest houses in Nelspruit, with some of the best to be found in the Riverside area in the north of the city, and on Marloth and Du Preez Streets in the centre.

For those wishing to indulge in Nelspruit’s leisure and entertainment facilities in between soccer matches, the 4-star Emnotweni Sun in the city centre, 3 miles east of the stadium, would make a great choice. This Nelspruit hotel is adjacent to the Botanical Gardens and opposite the popular Emnotweni Casino Complex and the Riverside Mall – the city's premier shopping and entertainment venue

The 3-star Mercure Nelspruit, located 1.7 miles to the east of the stadium, has received excellent guest reviews, praised in particular for its beautiful setting, value for money, and wonderful dining area.

A good budget option with relatively easy access to the stadium is the 2-star Town Lodge, located 2.7 miles east of the venue.
