If you are coming to the city just for the match then it would be advised to choose a hotel near the Stadio Olimpico in the north of the city centre. If you are in town for a few days, then a more centrally located Stadio Olimpico hotel would allow you to really make the most of your stay. The stadium is located in the northern Rome close to the historic Ponte Milvio, an important bridge over the river Tiber. In recent years, the bridge has gained fame as a romantic destination for young couples that come to hang padlocks from one of the bridge's lampposts to signify their love.

The 3-star Farnesia is located close to the stadium and the Ponte Milvio making it a good choice of accommodation for fans wishing to stay close to the action.
