There is a lack of quality JJB Stadium hotels right next to the ground so the best bet for a good night's sleep is to take your pick from a number of hotels located in Wigan city centre.

A good JJB Stadium hotel is the 3-star Quality Hotel Wigan a mile away from the ground. The hotel boasts a great central location, parking and easy access to local bars, restaurants and entertainment.

A comfortable, privately owned option is the 2-star Bel Air Hotel with restaurant. It is slightly further out of town but still within walking distance of the city centre.

There is a wider range of JJB Stadium hotels to choose from if you are prepared to stay further out of town; the 3-star Britannia Hotel Wigan is located just off Junction 27 of the M6 giving it excellent transport access to nearby cities such as Manchester and Liverpool.

Those wishing to push the boat out may wish to select the 4-star Macdonald Kilhey Court Hotel as their JJB Stadium hotel of choice.
