ABOUT CRAVEN COTTAGE
In 2004, refurbishment work, costing £8 million, commenced at Craven Cottage to conform to Premiership regulations. The former Stevenage Road Stand (renamed the Johnny Haynes Stand after the former Fulham idol) originated from 1905. The front terracing has been removed and the stand is all-seater. Supporting pillars and ancient wooden seating in the upper tier can be forgiven, given its age. Opposite is the aptly named Riverside Stand, which sits on the banks of the Thames. This all-seated, covered stand was opened in 1972. Overlooking the ground is the unique Pavilion building, which many fans refer to as "the Cottage" (the original has long since been demolished). Though looking somewhat out of place, it does add to the overall character of the ground. The previously terraced Hammersmith and Putney Ends have been replaced by large all-seater, covered stands. The ground now has a capacity of 26,300. There are numerous Fulham hotels in close proximity.
The Club offers ground tours on the last Thursday and Saturday of each month (except match days) which should be booked by calling 0207-384-4777.
Limited food and drink is available. Burger vans provide bacon rolls, hot dogs and cheeseburgers, while alcohol is available, in the shape of bottled beer / lager from stalls at the rear of the stand.
Away fans are housed to one side of the Putney End Stand. The stand is shared with home supporters, with away fans being allocated around 3,000 seats. Supporting pillars can impede the view in Row DD and above. Fulham may be unique insofar as it has a designated area for "neutral" supporters.

Football Tourism
Fulham are the only Premiership club with a designated section for neutral supporters, tickets are priced between £30 and £48 on this section depending on the opposition. These tickets can be bought through the Ticketmaster or Fulham FC websites.
Fulham also offer an expensive match breaks package through Thomas Cook Sport, prices are split into three categories (A, B and C) and are vastly overpriced. Match breaks are offered in a way that will be of maximum cost to the customer and the minimum cost for Fulham vs. Sunderland on 18th October 2008 (a category B game) is £142 per person based on two sharing at the Premier Travel Inn London Putney Bridge on a room only basis with a match programme included. As tickets for category B games are £35 and the match programme is £3, under the match breaks package this makes hotel accommodation £104 per person (based on two sharing a double room), this extortionate price can be avoided by booking these components separately. On the 16th September 2008, a double room on a room only basis was available at the Premier Travel Inn London Putney Bridge through MATCHhotels for £82 (£41 per person), tickets were £35 through the Fulham website in the neutral section and the programme could be bought at the ground for £3. The total cost by booking these items separately is £79 per person, a massive saving of £63 per person.

Ticket prices vary from £25 - £55 for adults tickets, these prices differ with the standard of opposition and are characterised as either a category A, B or C game.
GETTING TO CRAVEN COTTAGE
By Road
Craven Cottage is located in Stevenage Road, postcode SW6 6HH. Online maps are available, otherwise use of a GPS is recommended. Parking is meter controlled and expensive. Early arrival is definitely advised. Public transport is a less stress-provoking option, as is staying in one of the nearby Fulham hotels.
By Public Transport
Tube
The nearest station is Putney Bridge (District Line). A pleasing, 15-minute walk through Bishops Park, along the riverbank, takes you to the stadium.
Bus
From Kingston-upon-Thames: Catch either the 85 or C4 to Putney Bridge. From Hammersmith: Catch any of the following buses: 190, 211, 295 or 220.
From Putney: Catch either the 74 or the 220. Having reached the general area, you will find there are plenty of hotels near Craven Cottage stadium.
WHERE TO STAY NEAR CRAVEN COTTAGE
There is an absolute plethora of Fulham hotels from which to choose. The Hand and Flower in Hammersmith Road is one of the budget hotels near Fulham, within 1½ miles of Craven Cottage. It is just a 2-minute walk from Kensington Olympia station. Kensington High Street and Hammersmith are but a short bus ride away, with great shopping and tourist attractions. Slightly more expensive amongst Fulham hotels close to Craven Cottage, the 2-star Garden View Hotel is in London's city centre, close to Earls Court station. At the other end of the scale, the 4-star Kensington International Inn, in Earl's Court, offers luxury en-suite accommodation with all modern facilities. It is a first-class hotel located 20 miles from Heathrow Airport and convenient for Gatwick.
