Ernst Happel Stadion is a sports venue in Vienna, Austria. It hosts the home games of the Austrian national football team.

It also stages numerous other sports, including athletics, cycling, tennis and boxing, as well as major music concerts. Over the years it has hosted international performers such as the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Bruce Springsteen.

It is the largest stadium in Austria, with a capacity of 53,000. Perhaps its most striking feature is its elliptical roof, which is one of the biggest in the world.

Getting To Ernst Happel Stadion

The stadium is situated about 3.5km east of Vienna city centre. It can be reached by tram number 21 or bus number 80.

The entire town centre is a short-stay parking zone, so beware of leaving your car sitting around without a permit.

Vienna Schwechat is Austria's main airport which connects to cities across Europe and beyond. The airport is around 13km from the stadium.
