Andorra is a relative newcomer to the world of international football, having only arrived on the scene around ten years ago. To date the national team has three victories to its credit, having beaten Albania, Belarus and the Republic of Macedonia, each time on Andorran soil.
The country has just two major football stadiums: the Estadi Comunal d'Aixovall, which is the largest in the country and home to the Andorran national football team, and the Estadi Comunal d'Andorra, which is located in the capital city of Andorra, Andorra la Vella. Together, the two stadiums organise and host the celebrated football competitions in Andorran football, the Lliga de Primera Divisio and the Lliga de Segona Division. Each year the Estadi Comunal d'Aixovall also hosts the Copa Constituci— and Andorran Supercup competitions.
The country doesn't have an international airport, so football fans wishing to fly to Andora to see their team in action will need to fly into Barcelona, Toulouse or Perpignan. Bus connections to Andora are available from these airports.
