Lord's is a cricket venue in St John’s Wood, London, and is the home of Middlesex County Cricket Club. As well as Middlesex home games, the stadium hosts Test matches and one-day Internationals.

Lord's also plays host to Twenty20 Cup matches, the finals of the National Village Cricket Competition, the MCC Universities Challenge tournament and The Friends Provident Trophy.

The oldest permanent fixture at Lord's is the annual Eton versus Harrow match which began in 1805.

The ground can hold up to 32,000 spectators.

Lord's is also home to the world's oldest sporting museum, which contains a magnificent collection of cricket memorabilia, including The Ashes.

Getting To Lord’s

Lord's is located close to some of Central London’s most famous landmarks including include Regent's Park and Madame Tussaud's.

The ground has good public transport links. There are several Tube stations within walking distance, such as St John's Wood (Jubilee Line), Warwick Avenue (Bakerloo Line) and Baker Street (Bakerloo, Circle, Jubilee, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines).

Lord's is also reasonably close to two mainline rail stations, Marylebone and Paddington, whilst other London rail terminals, including Euston, King's Cross and Victoria, can also be reached comparatively easily, particularly by Tube.

Lord's is well-served by buses as well, with several bus routes running alongside the venue.

Parking is notoriously difficult in Central London and it is advised that you make use of public transport when travelling to Lord’s
