On December 1st 2008, a new version of MATCHhotels was released including several enhancements:

  • Upgrades to all pages, particularly individual hotel pages with new tab layout and lots of photos, for example: Jurys Inn Chelsea
  • New ‘Guide’ pages for each sports venue, for example: Chelsea guide
  • New place name (e.g. Islington) and postcode (e.g. N1 9EX) hotel search.

Place name and postcode search are BIG! Our users and affiliate partners are not limited to finding hotels near sports venues any more. MATCHhotels has over 50,000 hotels in 11,000 towns and cities across Europe, all with maps and available for hotel price comparison.Want to go to Palma Nova in Mallorca, Spain? No problem, just go to the ‘Place’ tab and enter ‘Spain’ and ‘Palma Nova’ to see availabile accommodation from 9 different hotel websites.

For UK consumers, January is the biggest time for holiday and hotel booking. We want our affiliates to maximise profits during this busy period and encourage all to add some links to MATCHhotels.com to earn more commission on hotel sales.
